Corporate philosophy

By providing blood adsorbers that remove unnecessary harmful substances from the blood, our company aims to work towards a society where anyone can receive safe, affordable apheresis treatment anywhere and at any time.

Management message

In the treatment of rare diseases where conventional medications and therapies alone do not yield sufficient effects, apheresis therapy is an expected new treatment approach.

Pharmaceuticals work by an “addition” approach, administering drugs to the body to achieve the desired therapeutic effect. In contrast, apheresis treatment takes a “subtraction” approach by removing unwanted or unnecessary substances from the patient’s blood extracorporeally (outside the body), and then returning the purified blood back into the body. This unique method of treatment can be considered a “cure for subtraction” as it involves removing harmful elements from the bloodstream to improve the patient’s condition.

However, apheresis therapy is not yet widely recognized, so active efforts are needed from doctors and patients to promote awareness, adoption, and technical support.

We aim to fulfill the hopes of many patients through apheresis therapy. We strive to promote the widespread adoption of this treatment method and expand access to opportunities for apheresis therapy, with the ultimate goal of creating a society where anyone, anytime, and anywhere can receive safe and affordable apheresis treatment.

The name of Japan HemoTech Corporation is derived from the abbreviation of “Japan Hemo Technology.” The company name reflects our desire to be a company that continues to contribute to apheresis medicine globally by disseminating blood purification technology from Japan to the world.
